Nose to Tail Well-being Review & Journal

More than just care — getting to know what’s normal for your pet.

At Belle & Co., I believe good pet care is about more than simply feeding, walking and keeping your pet company. It’s about getting to know your individual pet, their normal behaviour, routine and wellbeing.

Where included within your chosen service, your pet’s first booked visit can include an Initial Wellbeing Review. This creates a baseline for your pet and forms the starting point of their Belle & Co. Wellbeing Journal.

During the review, I may record observations such as:

  • 🐾 Body condition
  • 👀 Eyes and ears
  • 🦷 Mouth and teeth
  • 🐕 Skin and coat
  •    🤲 Any noticeable lumps or changes
  • 🚶 Mobility and movement
  • 💚 General behaviour and demeanour
  • 💊 Current medication or ongoing health concerns
  • 📝 Your own observations and anything you would like me to be aware of
  • 🏡 “What’s normal for my pet?” — helping me understand their individual baseline

This means that over time, I can become familiar with what is normal for your pet, making it easier to notice and communicate any changes you may wish to discuss with your veterinary practice.

Please note: The Wellbeing review is not included for nail clipping, anal gland expression, hygiene trims or dog training. Belle & Co are unable to provide diagnoses or veterinary treatment. If a concern is noted you will be advised to seek veterinary treatment,

🐾 What about the Meet & Greet?

The Meet & Greet comes first.

This is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other, meet your pet and talk through their personality, routine, preferences and individual care needs.

The Meet & Greet is not a formal Wellbeing Review.

Your pet's Initial Wellbeing Review takes place once you become a Belle & Co. client and your first booked visit begins, where the review is included within your chosen service.

Important information

The Belle & Co. Wellbeing Review is a general welfare observation and record-keeping service. It is not a veterinary examination, diagnosis or treatment and does not replace veterinary advice or care.

If I notice something that concerns me, I will discuss it with you and recommend that you contact your veterinary practice where appropriate.

Other Pet Nurse Services

Please contact us if a service you require is not listed.

Important information

Belle & Co. provides professional pet care and well-being support and is not a veterinary practice. Pet Nurse Services are limited to non-clinical pet care and well-being support and do not replace veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment or veterinary examination.

Where a pet requires veterinary attention, I will always recommend that the owner contacts their veterinary practice. I do not independently diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or carry out veterinary procedures. Any care involving veterinary treatment or medication will only be undertaken where it is lawful and appropriate, within the relevant veterinary guidance and with any necessary veterinary direction or authorisation.

Your pet's veterinary practice remains responsible for their veterinary care.
